Preparing the PK608 for Installation on chassis

Handling and mounting

The PK-608 was folded in this position in order to fit inside a container

Use M20 articulated lifting rings and bolts provided with the machine

Positioning of the arms and roller in transport mode

Insert M20 lifting rings in roller holes

Lift with chains or straps capable of supporting ~2.6T (5720 lb)

(Roller assembly 2.3T (5060 lb) - roller arm 0.3T (660 lb))

After lifting the roller, install the roller supports on the chassis:

Install arm booster support on middle arm

When both roller supports and middle arm support are installed, lower the arm and roller on these supports.

Remove the lifting rings from the roller and insert them in the holes on each end of the middle arm

Using chains or straps, lift the arm in order to install the lower arm support

Lower the roller assembly. Make sure the lower arm corner fits inside the lower arm support.

Remove lifting rings and store with the Packmat documents.

Mounting the Packmat on the chassis

The PK-608 platform has M20 articulated lifting s that must be used in order to lift the platform and position it on top of the chassis frame

Position the machine on the chassis frame

The machine must be centered in width. The installer needs to make sure that the center of gravity of the PK-608 is aligned with the chassis center of gravity defined by the chassis manufacturer.

Weld the provided attachments on the PK-608 structure in accordance to the recommended regulations. Install the attachments in order to be able to bolt the upper attachment with the lower attachment on the chassis.

Pump installation and electrical connection

Mounting the pump

  • Mount the pump on the chassis PTO
  • Connect the pump suction hose to the hydraulic tank using tightening clamps
  • Connect the flexible pressure hose from the filter to the pump

Install provided electric cable by running it inside the cabin and connect it to

  • The screen
  • Control box
