Operation
Important information
- Only trained and qualified staff is authorized to use the PACKMAT machine.
- Always turn off the remote control before leaving the job site.
- It is FORBIDDEN TO CARRY ANY PERSONS while operating of moving the machine.
- Do not climb on the machine during unloading operations.
- Handle the PACKMAT mounted on chassis following the slinging schematic below.
- Before any vehicle movement, the roller must be rested on the supports made for this purpose.
It is strictly forbidden to move the vehicle while the roller is raised.

Controls
The operation console is inside the chassis cabin of the PK-608 Packmat.
Before any operations, verify that the vision screen is working properly.
- Zone 1: Button console and E-Stop
- Zone 2: Arms Joystick
- Zone 3: Vision screen

Zone 1 (electrical cabinet and front-mounted button)
- Button console with indicator lights
- E-Stop
- On-Off power switch
- Hour meter

The PK-608 must be turned ON in order the get the screen to light up.
Zone 3 (screen vision)
- Arm fold and unfold view
- Packing view from left dock
- Packing view from right dock

Console

Always make sure the screen is working properly before operating the unit.

Inspection prior to start-up
- General machine inspection (dents, visible damage).
- Inspect engine oil level+ cooling fluid + remove water from decant filter.
- Inpect hydraulic oil level, gauge is located below oil tank. Make sure packer is in transport position.
- Inspect for filters clogging (led remote) and make sure there are no fluid leaks .
- Inspect lights
- Strobe light
- Working lights
- E-Stop lights

Roller packer start-up
- Put the chassis transmission in neutral and apply parking brake
- Turn the ON-OFF switch to the right, the engine RPM will rev-up
